Winners of the pre-championship were triple team Pg Hj Asmalina Pg Hj Jaya, Masli Hj Mohd Said and Hj Mat Rosli Hj Ahmad. In second place were Awg Wahab Sahrin Hj Awg Besar, Azmi Eddy Mohd Harris and Marhalim Hj Juni.
Hj Rosmin bin Hj Mohd Hassan, the Brunei Darussalam Petanque Federation General-Secretary gave away the prizes to the winners.
Hj Rosmin said the pre-championship was a good warm-up for the upcoming 7th Pan Pacific competition where 11 countries from the Pacific rim will be taking part.
“The competition will help calm the nerves of some of the players who have less experience playing against international players, some of which are world class,” he said.
